Who We Are
Arkand AI was founded by Jake Woodworth. Everything we do is shaped by a principle from Jake's mentor, an ex-Apple leader and artificial intelligence startup founder: 'Our job is to make employees' lives better.' That belief guides every project.
Jake has been teaching people to use these tools since before most companies had a policy for it. At Elizabethtown College, he designed and co-taught an honors course using the Princeton Precept System alongside a university professor. For his senior thesis, he used AI as the core research methodology and openly declared it, at a time when most students were hiding it. When he presented at the National Collegiate Honors Council, the audience was far more interested in how he had used AI to produce the work than in the underlying research.
As the first employee at Carbon Technology Group, an artificial intelligence startup, Jake worked across the business, from development to sales, marketing, and client success, building enterprise AI and software. He has worked in the industry, not just talked about it.
He has trained everyone from university faculty to senior military and executive leadership on practical adoption. He has advised veteran executive coaches on integrating new tools into their practices. He cares more about finding the right solution than selling a particular tool. Sometimes artificial intelligence is the right fit, sometimes it is not. Either way, our job is to help you find the answer.

"Seldom has there been a student who has embraced an interdisciplinary liberal arts education in becoming an informed, responsible, self-directed learner. This past semester we designed and co-taught an honors history course, basing it on the Princeton University Precept System where the class is led by the professor assisted by an advanced undergraduate student. As always, Jake exceeded expectations. It has been wonderful collaborating with Jake on this and so many other projects. Jake studied how to utilize AI strategically and ethically. To this end he started his own business, Arkand AI, and has been steadily engaged in custom AI consulting for several clients."
